Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant Neurosurgery to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryThe Medical Assistant Neurosurgery will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support to our neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to neurosurgery team, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and patient education.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, and completing billing and fiscal information.
- Develop relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to provide quality patient care and contribute to the attainment of important goals for the patient, the practice, and the organization.
- Participate in team-based care and patient education initiatives to support the health and wellness of patients.
- Perform routine tests, such as electrocardiograms, vision and hearing screening, and the collection of specimens for laboratory testing and point of care.
- Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement initiatives and compliance readiness.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
