Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Concrete Forming Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Forming Finisher, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing the surface of poured concrete, aligning forms, and performing various other tasks related to concrete finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Smooth and finish the surface of poured concrete using hand and power tools
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters
- Patch voids and use saws to cut expansion joints
- Perform broom finishes with fine texture transverse to traffic flow
- Run edges, ensuring they are straight, clean, and at proper elevation
- Check rod floor flatness, cutting humps and filling holes as needed
- Saw cut concrete surfaces, ensuring straight cuts in proper locations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Demonstrate excellent skills in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
