Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Community Memorial Healthcare. As a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients, processing laboratory orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Process laboratory orders and maintain accurate records
  • Stock and maintain an adequate supply of materials and equipment
  • Act as a courier transporting specimens
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Current California Phlebotomy License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current Driving License
  • Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMHS insurance coverages
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) plus months recent hospital experience
