Packaging Specialist

The Packaging Associate is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of finished products and packaging materials. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials to ensure they meet quality expectations
• Communicate concerns to Quality Auditor, Operator, Lead Operator, and/or Supervisor
• Discard product that does not meet expectations in accordance with site procedures
• Package all product types for all lines in the facility
• Perform rework for rejected product or damaged boxes
• Safely utilize the grinders to ensure scrap is recycled in a manner that ensures reintegration into the manufacturing process
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or other industrial setting preferred
• Comparable experience handling tasks that are repetitive in nature, at a steady pace
• Ability to stand and walk constantly on a cement floor surface
• Use of hands, fingers, arms, and shoulders constantly
• Lifting to a maximum of 30 lbs.
• Rotating or twisting constantly
• Visual acuity
