Position Overview:

As a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues with grinding and machining machinery.
  • Formulating repair strategies that involve assessing whether to repair or replace mechanical components, supported by relevant procedures and schematics.
  • Participating in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Providing technical leadership and problem-solving expertise to restore production flow, collaborating closely with skilled trades personnel.
  • Serving as a technical resource for manufacturing staff.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve technical challenges.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with CNC machinery, including servo motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and hydraulic schematics for machinery repair.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems and controls in industrial settings.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with rolling mill machinery, particularly in aluminum, steel, or paper industries.
  • Strong background in maintenance practices.
  • Technical degree or completion of an apprenticeship program.
  • Familiarity with product and process failure analysis and world-class manufacturing methodologies such as lean manufacturing and FMEA.
  • Experience in designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
