Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Assembly Technician to join our team at Nilfisk Group. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

  • Assemble industrial machines according to manual instructions
  • Use various tools to accurately assemble, clean, inspect, and test products and subassemblies
  • FOLLOW ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES AND PRACTICES
  • FOLLOW ALL QUALITY PROCEDURES AND MEET QUALITY STANDARDS
  • Follow and improve manufacturing area processes
  • Participate in manufacturing process improvement teams
  • Document production records and statistics as directed
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous machine assembly experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and write and speak English effectively
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Problem-solving skills, dependability, and ability to observe all safety and security guidelines
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Working in a non-A/C manufacturing environment
  • Using mechanical/pneumatic tools
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and being multi-tasked
  • Reliability, dependability, and good attendance
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays as work demands
