Join our team at Trilliant Food & Nutrition, a leading manufacturer of specialty coffee, as a Roaster Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating roasting equipment, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high-quality product, and maintaining a clean and organized production area.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Roasters and troubleshoot issues
- Check for correct roast color and perform Thermal Cleans as needed
- Assist with basic general Roaster inspections and troubleshooting of thermal events
- Communicate with grinders and learn basic Dynamics functions for managing Roast batch orders
- Take and test Roast samples, complete paperwork, and data entry for traceability and quality control
- Inspect equipment, perform basic general machine maintenance, and ensure accuracy in all required areas of work
- 3+ years of experience in food production and/or machine operating
- Good knowledge of and/or passion for learning about coffee manufacturing
- Strong general mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of food safety and food quality standards
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
The Roaster Operator role is available on a 2-2-3 schedule at our Little Chute, Wisconsin production facility. We offer a competitive base pay rate and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
As a Roaster Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, and wet environments. You will be required to lift and move up to 50 pounds and have good attendance and performance track record.
