The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Job Responsibilities- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures on all patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Receive and document radiopharmaceuticals in the computer system, maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Conduct nuclear imaging based on standard protocols approved by the Medical Director.
- Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using various radioisotope equipment.
- Perform blood volumes studies following standard lab technique.
- Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals according to regulatory requirements.
- Practice radiation safety at all times.
- Perform quality control procedures on all equipment and locations.
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the ARRT and/or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the NMTCB.
- SCRQSA Certification required.
- BLS required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
