Join JF Petroleum Group, a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, as an Electrical Installation Foreman. In this role, you will take a hands-on leadership position on the job site, ensuring prompt and efficient progress of the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate equipment such as trenchers, backhoes, and mini excavators, and schedule rental equipment and materials.
- Direct and run projects involving conduit, wiring, and electrical service-related equipment, as well as the installation of Fuel Management systems.
- Communicate with the Installation Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, timely, and profitably.
- Interact with customers or their onsite representatives to address any issues that may arise on the job site.
- Read and understand applicable plans, specifications, fire, and electrical codes to ensure compliance on the site.
- Attend pre-construction meetings, safety meetings, and selected training sessions as directed by the Installation Manager.
- Keep accurate daily records of job progress, including tests, inspections, and any situations that may affect the schedule.
- Set an example for crew members by reporting to work on time and in proper uniform.
- Supervise daily crew activities and plan for the next day.
- Train crew members to take on increasing responsibilities.
- Enforce all mandatory safety rules, correct potential hazards, and require the use of proper personal protective equipment.
- Hold weekly job-site safety meetings and maintain a positive company image.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of experience in all types of electrical conduit and associated fittings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with 3-phase systems.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret the latest NEC.
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a construction truck and tow small trailers when needed.
- Pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
