Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Horizontal Directional Drill Locator to join our team at Ledcor Technical Services. As a key member of our team, you will assist in building telecommunications networks across North America. This role offers a diverse career path and the opportunity to work with a leading telecommunications company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HDD drill head location services for the HDD Operator.
  • Operate HDD Locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor.
  • Install conduit, vaults, and cable work when not locating.
  • Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition.
Requirements:
  • Valid full-driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements.
  • Two years of experience locating for a directional drill or a combination of work experience and/or technical training.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures.

Please note that this position will require travel throughout the state of Montana, with per diem and travel accommodations provided by the company.
