Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Versa Recruiting, LLC. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Independently conduct laboratory testing on patients of all ages, utilizing professional knowledge of laboratory procedures to execute, interpret, and analyze results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Resolve technical problems and demonstrate critical thinking skills to ensure the highest quality of test results.
- Perform and monitor Quality Control/instrument maintenance, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
- Enter/retrieve/transmit laboratory test data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)/Healthcare Information System (HIS).
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Comply with regulations of all existing applicable state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of the Laboratory Information System.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings as indicated by Department Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- A 2-Year/Associate Degree is required.
- A 4-Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- A State of Florida Technologist License is required or the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
