About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Digital Governance to join our team at Digital Associates. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for partnering with various stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Commercial, R&D, and other business stakeholders to develop and implement digital strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on complex transactions and initiatives involving software, data, digital, cloud, and artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) technologies.
  • Collaborate with our Chief Privacy Officer and intellectual property (IP) attorneys to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective governance of digital technologies and data across the organization.
Requirements
  • 12 or more years of combined law firm and in-house legal experience, with a focus on transactions and governance related to software, data, digital, cloud, AI / ML, and other advanced technologies.
  • Member in good standing of the California State Bar, and / or other state bar if based outside of California.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with medical diagnostics / medical device companies.
  • Negotiating and contracting with healthcare entities, cooperative groups, foundations, and government entities.
  • Negotiating and contracting with suppliers and users of software, digital, cloud, and AI / ML solutions.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $180,000 - $210,000 per year.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility.
