Position Overview

About Fit Code

Fit Code is a premier fitness establishment dedicated to fostering a supportive community that empowers individuals to achieve their health and fitness aspirations. Our mission is to provide a safe and effective environment for strength and cardiovascular training, alongside nutritional guidance and habit-based coaching.

We pride ourselves on being a transformative training facility for those seeking significant lifestyle changes in the Chicagoland area. Our commitment to excellence has earned us recognition as one of the best in South Chicagoland.

Benefits of Working with Us:

This role allows you to engage in your passion for fitness and help clients reach their objectives. Our trainers focus solely on coaching without the pressure of membership sales, allowing you to dedicate your efforts to client success. We seek individuals eager to grow and contribute to a meaningful mission of transforming lives.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading trainers, gaining invaluable knowledge and skills. We prioritize continuous professional development and support your pursuit of further education, including covering costs for relevant courses after onboarding.

Compensation: Hourly rates range from $18 to $25, with part-time coaching opportunities available for small group strength sessions. As our gym expands, there are pathways for advancement into management, nutrition coaching, or sales roles. Initially, you can expect 8-12 hours of work per week, with potential for increased hours as we grow.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A dedicated personal trainer or group session coach
  • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional improvement
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor
  • A high level of professionalism
  • A positive and energetic attitude
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in clients' lives

While certifications such as ACE, NASM, ISSA, CSCS, or NSCA are preferred, they are not mandatory. We offer support for training and certification, including a partnership with NASM to assist you in maintaining your credentials.

Core Values of Fit Code:
Our core values guide our operations and culture. We encourage you to reflect on whether these values resonate with you:

  • Continuous Improvement: We believe in lifelong learning and support our staff in their personal and professional growth.
