Count Room Supervisor

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the smooth operation of the drop and count area, including the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the Count Room Team. Implement strategies to minimize lost time injuries.
- Establish and uphold Count Room protocols, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Manage the processing of cash from gaming machines and NRTs through the currency counting system.
- Document cash transactions electronically for both gaming machines and NRTs, providing necessary documentation to the Revenue Audit Team.
- Collect cash drop boxes from gaming machines and NRTs.
- Retrieve cash drop boxes from storage, open them, and prepare un-audited funds for counting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls regarding all financial and cash handling activities.
- Maintain accurate records for the count room, including maintenance logs for counting machines, purchase orders, and supply requisitions.
- Review reports from counting machines for any malfunctions or issues, and create maintenance and repair action lists as needed.
- Collaborate with departmental directors and managers as required.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Demonstrate effective management skills in overseeing the count room and Count Team personnel.
- Foster a professional working environment among all staff members.
- Ability to work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to take full responsibility for the count room's performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in a gaming or related industry is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
