We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join our mission in elevating healthcare staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
As a Psychiatrist with VieMed, you can expect:
- A competitive salary of $145 per hour, with 11 paid federal holidays, totaling $150.80 blended rate

The selected Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing direct care to patients within their scope of practice, performing functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing, and granted privileges. They will also be required to maintain BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
Key requirements include:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution
- Board Certification eligible by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN)
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine independently in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum of one-year experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist
