Position Overview:

Latitude 36 Foods is hiring a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Ensure a safe working environment by following all job safety rules and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment, making necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Quality Control: Test equipment after repairs or extended downtime and check product for visual and quality defects.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting findings to the supervisor and taking appropriate action.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues with production equipment.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Skilled in mechanical maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Certification: Preference given to candidates with relevant certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing or packaging is preferred.
