About the Role

The Infection Preventionist will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of infection control at Berkshire Health Systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of preventing the spread of infections in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based infection control practices
  3. Provide education and training to staff on best practices for infection control
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an infection control capacity
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as science or nursing
  • Certification in Infection Control within 2 years of hire
Compensation
  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience
