Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and cost plans for review, including benchmarking and value engineering options.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in preparing and maintaining the risk register.
  • Procurement Strategy: Contribute to the development of the procurement strategy and report.
  • Client Communication: Attend client meetings and record relevant discussion points and actions.
  • Design Team Collaboration: Attend design team meetings, capture cost implications, and implement meeting outcomes.
  • Lease Negotiations: Assist in lease negotiations and validation of the tenant improvement allowance.
  • Project Support: Assist with changing order logs, invoice logs, cost reports, and other project-related tasks.
  • Development Appraisals: Assist with measurements and research pricing for development appraisals.
  • Pre-Qualification Questionnaire: Draft and finalize the pre-qualification questionnaire for review.
  • PQQ Response Review: Review and tabulate PQQ responses.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of cost management experience.
  • Professional Certifications: MRICS or on the path to chartership preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends.
  • Soft Skills: Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
