Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and support in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices, to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and radiologic technologists, to ensure effective communication and patient care.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare teams.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and RCIS verification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies.
