Dishwasher Associate

The Dishwasher Associate position assists the Food Services Department in the dining room and kitchen, serving food for BGEA employees and guests. The successful candidate will help maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen, ensuring a positive and professional image for the organization.

• Set up and clean up after daily lunch periods and banquets
• Clean the dining room after morning and afternoon breaks
• Prepare and serve coffee and iced tea, maintaining a clean and stocked area
• Clean dining room tables before every use
• Perform all dishwashing duties, including pots and pans
• Ensure the cleanliness of the dishwasher and coffee urns

• Previous kitchen and dining room experience is helpful
• Previous food preparation experience is helpful
• Able to set an example of a positive work ethic and attitude
• Able to maintain a high level of Christian integrity and professionalism
• Able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Able to function effectively as a team member
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Able to work productively under pressure to meet deadlines

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Associate or Seasonal employees may work up to 19 hours a week (not to exceed 1000 hours a year) and are not eligible for any benefits.
