Job Title: Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Specialist to join our team at SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties.

Job Summary:

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, creating financial reports, and performing analysis using QuickBooks. This role will also involve monitoring and maintaining inventory and fixed assets, as well as ensuring tax, insurance, and financial and HR compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records and create financial reports using QuickBooks
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and fixed assets
  • Ensure tax, insurance, and financial and HR compliance requirements are met
  • Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors
  • Complete accounts receivable activities, including collections
Requirements:
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Pro (most recent versions) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1+ years of experience with bookkeeping and collection activities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times
  • Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented multi-tasker
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours/week, with flexible hours to work overtime when required. The pay rate is competitive based on experience.
