AmeriCare Plus is seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Aide to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes. As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as performing light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare and serve meals for clients
  • Assist clients with medication management
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Certification as a CNA, NA, or PCA (exception Companion Aide only to Private Pay)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Documentation of positive work history as evidenced by at least two work references on file
  • Valid Driver's License
  • No more than 2 company or state barrier crimes (criminal history check results must meet state and company standards)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
Working Conditions

Personal Care Aides will work in clients' homes, providing one-on-one care and support. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
