Key Responsibilities- Advocate for Patients: Act as a patient advocate, working closely with patients to identify financial assistance programs and facilitate the application process.
- Screen Patients: Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls to screen patients for financial and medical eligibility for financial assistance programs.
- Facilitate Application Process: Utilize Savista's eligibility screening program to determine patients' eligibility for financial assistance programs and provide instructions on the application process.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate complex information to patients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they understand their eligibility and next steps.
- Meet Productivity Standards: Meet or exceed established productivity standards, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Travel Requirements: Travel up to 20% to government agencies, patient homes, or other facilities/hospitals to conduct screenings and facilitate the application process.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience: 6+ months of experience in a customer service role, interacting directly with customers either in-person or over the phone.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with ability to navigate multiple databases simultaneously.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
