About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Goodwin Animal Hospital. As a leader in small animal medicine and surgery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and developing strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our veterinary team
  • Lead and mentor our veterinary team to ensure exceptional patient care and client satisfaction
  • Monitor and improve clinical practices and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and hospital operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical information and advancements in veterinary medicine
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Alabama
  • 3+ years of leadership and management experience in a veterinary setting
  • 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong focus on small animal medicine and surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to lead and mentor a team
