Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in a fast-paced radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT scanning and imaging, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilization
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to radiologists and other healthcare team members
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Transport patients as needed, using proper lifting and transfer techniques
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personnel
  • Technical skills to operate CT scanners and other radiology equipment
  • Cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with patients and healthcare team members, meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Sensory skills to maintain keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
