Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for educating staff on Quality Standards and operational procedures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential, with additional tasks as assigned:
- Understand and communicate the company's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality protocols.
- Collaborate with management and staff to facilitate effective training on safety and quality standards, including:
- Standardized Work Practices
- Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
- OS-1 Cleaning Procedures
- Conducting Quality Audits
- Safety and Environmental Training for New Hires and Refresher Courses
- Guide management on their quality and safety obligations, including:
- Demonstrating procedures outlined in the Supervisor Safety Manual
- Supporting the implementation of business plans
- Assisting in the calibration of GMS and quality audits
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead initiatives for onboarding new clients.
- Contribute to the creation of standardized work processes and safety plans.
- Monitor and schedule training sessions to maintain current knowledge among staff.
- Deliver essential training programs for all personnel, ensuring:
- A controlled classroom environment that addresses participant inquiries effectively.
- Maintain training documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Work Environment: The characteristics of the work environment may include exposure to various conditions such as humidity, mechanical operations, and temperature extremes. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Requirements: Employees may need to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision adjustments may be necessary.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
