Job Overview

Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for educating staff on Quality Standards and operational procedures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential, with additional tasks as assigned:

  • Understand and communicate the company's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to facilitate effective training on safety and quality standards, including:
    • Standardized Work Practices
    • Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
    • OS-1 Cleaning Procedures
    • Conducting Quality Audits
    • Safety and Environmental Training for New Hires and Refresher Courses
  • Guide management on their quality and safety obligations, including:
    • Demonstrating procedures outlined in the Supervisor Safety Manual
    • Supporting the implementation of business plans
    • Assisting in the calibration of GMS and quality audits
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Lead initiatives for onboarding new clients.
  • Contribute to the creation of standardized work processes and safety plans.
  • Monitor and schedule training sessions to maintain current knowledge among staff.
  • Deliver essential training programs for all personnel, ensuring:
    • A controlled classroom environment that addresses participant inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain training documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Work Environment: The characteristics of the work environment may include exposure to various conditions such as humidity, mechanical operations, and temperature extremes. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
