Robotics Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Robotics Instructor to join our team at the University of New Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online and/or face-to-face Robotics courses at the 100 or 200 level.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Robotics courses at the 100 or 200 level
- Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments
- Meet with students during assigned times, including office hours and class meetings
- Grade assignments and report grades to the Program Coordinator
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 2.5 years of experience designing and programming robots in industrial settings, or 3.5 years of experience teaching the design and programming of robots in an academic setting
- Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
- Practical experience programming and working with robotic applications in industry
- New Mexico residence, and availability to teach face-to-face classes in Los Alamos at least once per week
- Master's or Ph.D. in a related field
- Experience teaching online and/or face-to-face courses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
