Families Together of Orange County (FTOC) is seeking a highly skilled Vaccine Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all aspects of vaccine distribution and administration programs for our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee proper receipt and storage of vaccine shipments, ensuring timely and efficient distribution to our clinics.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to maximize vaccination coverage, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with vaccine storage and handling guidelines, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, government agencies, and community organizations to promote vaccination efforts.
- Develop and implement workflows to optimize vaccine administration practices, including staff training and education.
- Manage vaccine inventory, including ordering, storage, and handling, to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct site visits to review and practice VFC and CHDP guidelines, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (college preferred) and Medical Assistant or higher Certification from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience as an LVN or higher level in a clinic setting.
- Strong computer skills, acute attention to detail, confident and professional communication.
- Bilingual: Spanish (Required).
