Water Distribution Specialist

Ochoco West Water & Sanitary Authority is seeking a skilled Utility Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing regular and reoccurring installation, repair, and maintenance work on water distribution and sewer collection systems.
- Work in a non-technical/general public works labor position, utilizing techniques, methods, and practices of water supply and water distribution, as well as sewer collection systems.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, and be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Be available for 24-hour call back for emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in general construction work, with a specialty in water and water treatment activities preferred.
- A valid Oregon State Driver's license.
- A competitive hourly rate of $23.00.
- A healthcare stipend.
