Math Instructor

Mathnasium Learning Centers are dedicated to teaching children math in a way that fosters understanding, mastery, and a lifelong love of the subject.

We are seeking a skilled Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Laurel. As a Math Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering mathematical instruction to students using our proprietary Mathnasium method.

• Deliver math instruction to students using the Mathnasium method
• Provide exceptional customer service through expert approach and attention to individual student needs
• Build students' confidence and self-esteem through successful interactions and carefully selected materials
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and operate in a team teaching environment
• Support administrative aspects of the center and maintain center cleanliness and order

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire students to do well
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and multitask
• Professional demeanor and effective communication
• Availability to work a minimum of 6-10 hours spread across at least two shifts during the week and weekend
