Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at HealthCare Support. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Job Summary:

This is a travel opportunity for an Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in Portland, Maine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and fluoroscopy
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical imaging principles and procedures
