Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care through systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and follow-up. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and possess strong critical thinking abilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Provides health promotion and assessment of patient problems through the use of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
- Diagnoses and manages patient conditions within approved population foci
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintains accurate records and ensures timely documentation of patient care
- Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and contributes to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent experience
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as an Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner by the State of Texas
- Certified by a recognized national certification board in area of population foci
- Eligibility for DEA licensure
- Basic Cardiac Life Certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Certification
