Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at ProMedica Health System. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all HVAC systems and associated equipment throughout our hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all air handling equipment, air filtering systems, and associated equipment related to HVAC.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of compressed air systems, pneumatic controls, and devices.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and perform corrective maintenance on the building automation system for all associated HVAC systems.
  • Operate and maintain water chillers, cooling towers, hot water boilers, and associated equipment.
  • Perform daily work requests and review schedules with immediate supervisors.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of electricity, fire/safety codes, and air conditioning principles.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC certificate or trade school education.
  • 4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Working knowledge of building automation systems.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, dust, fumes, electrical voltage, and temperature changes. The successful candidate must be able to lift, move, or carry materials or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
