Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team at The Shores at Clear Lake. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents by preparing wholesome, nutritious, and attractive food.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of cooking experience, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality field, and hold Serv-Safe Certification. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with residents and associates.

About the Role
  • Prepare and serve all food items using high-quality ingredients and garnishes.
  • Use recipes and correct portion sizes to provide consistent products while controlling costs.
  • Monitor and record food temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Label, date, and properly store all foods.
  • Comply with state and local rules and regulations for a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.
