We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Medication Care Partners (Certified Med Techs) to enhance our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to our senior residents by following personalized medication and treatment protocols.

Available Positions: Full-time and Part-time roles across various shifts (8 hours).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with the daily administration of medications, including self-administration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in resident health status.
  • Coordinate medication orders and ensure timely deliveries from pharmacies.
  • Keep medication records and medical files up to date.
  • Provide compassionate support with daily living activities in a collaborative team environment.
  • Encourage resident independence and emotional well-being through engagement and companionship.
  • Support participation in life enrichment programs.
  • Facilitate open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to work with people.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of caregiving experience, particularly in medication administration within a community setting.
  • Experience in Memory Care is advantageous.
  • Current state Medication Tech license is required.
  • State CNA or PCA certification is necessary.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
