Apprentice Lineman

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Lineman to join our team at Pike Electric Corporation. As an Apprentice Lineman, you will play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of our nation's power grid.

• Assist in the operation of heavy equipment used in powerline construction
• Support the team in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems
• Perform rigorous physical labor, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a professional manner
• Continuously improve technical and leadership skills through training and development

• Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License permit within 60 days of employment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Ability to travel long distances on short notice, when required
• Ability to work for extended periods in various locations, when required
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position

Powerline construction work is performed outside and is subject to diverse weather conditions. Team-members may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
