Key Responsibilities

">
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate special needs.">
  • Provide specialized academic instruction and behavior intervention services to students as assigned.">
  • Collaborate with general education colleagues to accommodate, differentiate, and modify student learning and materials to best meet the needs of students with mild to moderate special needs.">
  • Collect and analyze data regularly to monitor student progress towards IEP goals and report student progress to families and colleagues.">
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress, including IEP documents, progress reports, evaluations, parent signature pages, and other relevant documentation.">

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or higher.">
  • Valid teaching credential in special education or eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit or Short Term Staff Permit.">
  • Experience working with students with mild to moderate special needs preferred.">
  • Strong content knowledge and teaching skills.">
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with students, families, and community members.">
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Suite applications and instructional technology.">

Compensation and Benefits

KIPP Northern California offers a competitive salary range of $74,987 - $112,293 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and transportation benefits.
