Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking skilled LVNs to enhance our team. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver nursing services to clients within your professional scope.
  • Your Duties Will Include:
  • Administering and documenting medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Coordinating with appointment staff to manage client needs and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed post-appointments.
  • Engaging with the interdisciplinary team to discuss client progress and requirements.
  • Understanding and advocating for clients' rights, including knowledge of reporting procedures for suspected abuse.
  • Participating in mandatory training sessions and team meetings, with a minimum of three hours of training required monthly.
  • Reporting health-related issues promptly to the RN consultant or Medical Director.
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments as needed and effectively communicating their needs to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining appropriate communication with external agencies and clients' families.
  • Being prepared to respond to emergency situations and participating in drills.
  • Overseeing the care of clients' personal belongings to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Ensuring a safe environment by practicing safe work habits and proper equipment usage.
  • Reporting any concerns regarding client care or facility needs to management.
  • Completing all required documentation, including daily living activities, medication logs, incident reports, and health progress notes.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN).
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted LVN state license.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to safely lift or carry up to 30 pounds.
