Job Description:
This position is for an assembler at Lockheed Martin's Orlando facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assembly functions on mechanical hardware.
The role requires prior experience with mechanical/mechanic assembly using blueprints and measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
The assembler will work on various projects, including structural assembly and riveting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience with mechanical/mechanic assembly using blueprints and measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Ability to read and utilize process plans, sketches, photographs, and data to outline the work to be performed.
- Familiarity with general measuring and inspection experience.
- Experience with interpretation and application of GD&T, ANSI, and military specifications.
- Technical training, apprenticeship, or more than 5 years of experience in general/precision assembly techniques.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida, and requires the ability to work multiple shifts, including weekends. The work schedule is 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
