Job Summary

At Southeast Primary Care Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, developing long-term relationships with patients, and providing education and preventive care advice.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop personal relationships with patients and provide individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients in a timely manner
- Create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data
- Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time
- Schedule and administer follow-up examinations
- Offer comprehensive wellness exams
- Administer vaccinations
- Perform medical procedures
- Recommend specialists for treatment outside when appropriate

Requirements

- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required; current State of Georgia License in good standing
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required
- Current Georgia Medical License required
- Valid DEA required
- Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Caring, attentive nature
- Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans

Physical & Mental Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
- Ability to travel to multiple locations to support business needs as required
