Label Printer Specialist

Job Overview: The Label Printer Specialist is responsible for operating a flexographic press to print high-quality labels for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with printing equipment and be able to maintain accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the flexographic press to print labels, ensuring high-quality output and meeting production deadlines
  
• Maintain the press and associated equipment, performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
  
• Monitor press output and inspect printed labels for defects and quality issues
  
• Load and unload paper rolls and other materials, ensuring correct ink levels and chemistry
  
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper registration and maintain strict quality performance
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• 5+ years of experience with flexographic printing press operation and maintenance
  
• Ability to identify issues and implement solutions, with a focus on quality and productivity
  
• Knowledge of printing equipment, tools, and software, including design, use, and repair
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues and clients
  
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds and push/roll 300-800 pounds with a pallet jack
  
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
