Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking a seasoned Senior.Net Developer to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work.
Your Responsibilities:
- Import data from various sources and convert it into usable formats for variable print software.
- Write code for database access, modifications, and constructions, including stored procedures.
- Create and maintain business logic for multiple data sets, including direct mail address processing and standardization.
- Develop and follow test scripts to ensure programs and processes work properly and meet client requirements.
- Provide technical documentation of applications, including flow charts, specifications, and end-user documentation.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on coding standards.
- Maintain, fix, and enhance existing software applications to meet internal business requirements and external customer needs.
- Advise, monitor, and direct offshore developers to ensure they follow coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Production to resolve print issues.
- Perform code reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience working with.NET 4.0 or higher and the Microsoft technology platform.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.
- Experience with SOAP API and REST API.
- Knowledge of data platforms (ETL).
- Experience with source code management (GitHub).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with frequent interruptions.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure information is easily accessible and tasks are completed on time.
- Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal direction on assignments.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or greater.
- C#,.NET Framework, and/or Java.
We Prefer:
- Industry experience in direct marketing, e-commerce, print, graphic design, and insurance and financial services.
