Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Administer oxygen, aerosolized medication, and other respiratory therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures, including nasotracheal and artificial airway suctioning, CPR, and pulse oximetry monitoring.
- Assure correct set-up, safety, and function of all equipment and supplies necessary for patient care.
- Provide education to patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent).
- North Carolina State Licensure or Provisional License, and Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and any other applicable certifications.
