Job Title: Medical Office Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Nurse to join our team at Lancaster General Health. As a Medical Office Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an office setting.

Job Summary:

The Medical Office Nurse will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. This includes performing patient assessments, focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive functions, through patient/provider office visits, nurse visits, and telephone triage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments, focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive functions.
  • Collect and manage comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Analyze laboratory and diagnostic results prior to communicating with providers and discussing with patients.
  • Implement care in a knowledgeable manner and coordinate patient care across several disciplines and among caregivers.
  • Educate patients and family members about healthy practices, treatment modalities, medications, non-invasive and invasive procedures.

Requirements:

  • RN licensure, issued by the PA Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support.
  • Inpatient or Outpatient General and Vascular surgery experience/knowledge.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
