About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and coordinate patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna policies.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting, preferably in home health or pediatrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
