Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through trial.
- Conduct client meetings and case reviews to determine the legal strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Prepare for and represent clients at trial.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering any questions they may have.
- Stay up to date with changes in personal injury law and continuing legal education requirements.
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a particular emphasis on premise liability cases.
- Proven trial experience and a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
