We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic team at Piahrose. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars and schedules for hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Draft routine legal documents for review by attorneys
  • Review, organize, and maintain case materials
  • Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses, as well as correspondence and interrogatories/answers
  • Assist in deposition preparation, pretrial investigations, and trial preparation, including assistance with witness preparation
  • Open and close files, perform administrative case processing, and interact with clients
  • Provide case updates and maintain attorney calendars
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Experience with Large Losses and maintaining organization of files with a significant amount of documents
  • Experience with Trial Preparation, Memo and Motion Drafting, and Discovery Practice
  • Ability to perform independent legal research and obtain a working knowledge of applicable rules for multiple state and federal courts
  • Ability to maintain attorney calendars
