Morrison Healthcare is seeking a skilled Patient Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Patient Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take patient menu selections prior to each meal
  • Assemble trays according to patient menu selections in a timely and accurate manner
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure patient diet prescriptions are accurate and patient food needs are met
  • Retrieve trays from patient rooms
  • Maintain accurate and current information for each patient on assigned unit(s)
  • Assist dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or have a calorie count ordered
  • Communicate any patient-related problems/concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner following departmental procedures

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
