Logistics Team Lead

XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services. As a Logistics Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network.
About the Job
This position requires a minimum of 21 years of age and a valid Class A commercial drivers license. You will be responsible for operating tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home. You must also have a safe driving record and history. Additionally, you should be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights, safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer, and sit for extended periods in a truck tractor.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek. Benefits include full health insurance, hourly pay for holidays, PTO offered, and 401k with company match. You will also receive reimbursement for on-the-road showers and operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in all types of weather. Additionally, you will be paid at the designated rate of $0.91 per mile for all tasks related to the completion of the load, split between each driver ($0.455 per mile).
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical. You should also be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation. Furthermore, you should possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements.
Work Environment
As a Logistics Team Lead, you will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. You will be required to navigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
