About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at ENTRUST Solutions Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for determining recommended automation system solutions, working with project managers to develop migration roadmaps, and collaborating with business development managers to develop and deliver proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine recommended automation system solutions and work with project managers to develop migration roadmaps and program plans.
  • Support project managers as lead engineer to plan, schedule, and coordinate the technical aspect of a project.
  • Participate in client meetings and resolve technical issues on projects.
  • Ensure project teams use EN Automation's engineering processes, design tools, and best practices to drive project performance.
  • Develop and document system requirements, test plans, and commissioning plans, and ensure alignment of the control system design and development activities.
Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of automation and controls experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners.
  • Very good knowledge of multiple industry-leading vendor platforms, architectures, and data communications for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
  • Good understanding of system data collection, database management, and data analytics that support client business decisions.
